"Dodgy" generally means "questionable, something or somebody thats not quite either truthful or real, something thats inappropriate, ...something thats not quite "right" a bit suspect.
It has lots of meanings over here.

Do antidepressants really work? or placibo?
by boy@crossroads ini've posted on freeminds for over a year now but i rarely post on the medical treatment forum.
i believe i've had depression or some other milder form of depression for many months but i haven't gotten antidepressants for a couple of reasons 1.pride- i feel that taken antidepressants is admittion that i'm weak, 2. fear- i don't have health insurance and i'm afraid of the financial reprocussions of prescriptions and mental healthcare visits.
3. i'm also afraid that by taking the medication it will have no affect (wasted money) or that i will be worse off after taking them than if i had done nothing.. give me some of your thoughts.

My Ex was prescribed Prozac after being down for a few months. After a few weeks of taking them they completely changed her personality. To begin with I was happy that she was out of her depression and that she seemed to be enjoying life again but then she became very outgoing, really over confident, wild almost. She went from someone I loved to being someone I didn't like at all. The change in her personality was remarkable. I thought that the treatment would just pick her up out of her blues and that she'd become the girl I first met, instead she became this egotistical MONSTER.
Life with Miss Prozac was unbearable and in the end I got out. 6 years down the pan.

Missing in Turkey?
by KW13 inthats right folks, mum and stepdad said on thursday they were going to turkey, and they left on friday.. now its wednesday and no phone call or anything, despite mum promising to give me a number asap incase something went wrong over there or here.
sooooo should i be worried?
keep in mind, she is usually over-protective and that she's a jw.

Hmmm it was beginning to sound like my life story. I went to school in the morning and came home to find my parents had emigrated. without telling me. Still they did leave me clean underwear and a packed lunch.

She then went on to lecture me that using those words was just as bad as saying the real ones blah blah so me being a smartarse asked her which she would prefer I say, shit (which was said quite loudly) or sugar.
Going off topic a bit...
My argument against this sort of control freak was to ask them what would Jesus, that carpenter guy have done if he'd have hit his thumb with a hammer the way carpenters occasionally do? Would he have quietly gone "hmmm" or would he have sworn out loud.
